How to add the ''Dine In'' Order Type for Contactless Dining

An Order Type is a classification of the services you provide  written down in your Clover System. This could be Take-Out, Drive-Thru, Catering or any name you want. For Contactless Dining purposes, we need the creation of a "Dine-In" Order Type, which our platform will read and send the orders to.

Steps to create the Dine-In order type

  1. Access your Clover Web Dashboard
  2. Click on the Account & Setup tab (1):

  3. Under the Transactions (2) segment, click on the Order Types  (3).
  4. Confirm if the Dine-In order type is available in the Custom Order Type list
    1. This Order Type can be typed as "Dine-In" or "Dine In".

  5. If Dine-In is not available, click on the button +Create Custom Order Type
  6. Type on the field your new Order Type: Dine-In
  7. Hit the Save button
