How to Create/Delete Tables for Contactless Dining
The restaurant tables using Contactless Dining will need to be created first in your Orderspoon Dashboard to match the tables or spaces you want to use Contactless Dining for. In this guide, you'll learn how to create, delete and customize these tables to be ready to use.
Steps to Create a New Table
- Access your Orderspoon Dashboard using your owner Clover credentials.
- If not an owner, access via Clover Web Dashboard and then click on the Online Order tab.
- Open the Order Types drop-down menu and click on Contactless Dining.
- Under the Open Tab/Closed Tabs buttons, you will find the panel to create your tables.
- To create a table type the name you want on the Table number field and click on the Create button:
- Spaces and special characters (#$@?!) cannot be used for the table name.
- You can use a dash (-) or underscore (_) instead of spaces.
To delete one or multiple tables click on the Delete option under each table QR Code.
Deleting a table will make your printed QR code invalid and people scanning it won't be able to order until it's created again.
Printing your QR Codes
QR Codes created from here can be printed on the same page using the Print Preview button.
This feature offers a basic printing layout that you can easily use. For more customization options visit this link.
The current version of Contactless Dining does not support the names on this Print Preview and for that, we don't recommend using it until is updated.
