Getting Started with the Catering Feature

As a restaurant, the large orders placed by customers who are hosting a large event are highly profitable, but also need to be handled correctly.  As such, the Online Order app has taken your feedback and is offering a catering module that supports your catering needs. 


One of the largest benefits with the catering module is the ability to have pickup and delivery properties separate from your regular online menu. This enables the creation of a separate Orderspoon site. This is a 2nd Orderspoon site, with it's unique URL, to use for your catering needs.  This is accomplished by adding these 2 new Clover Order Types:

  1. Catering Pickup
  2. Catering Delivery

Chances are you've already taken your restaurant online. With our Online Order app you can manage a regular menu site and a catering menu site, from the same dashboard. To take advantage of the Catering feature a Platinum subscription plan level is required. Some benefits of the Platinum plan are: 

  • 2 Orderspoon sites
  • 2000 orders
  • Android mobile app
  • $99.99/month

By taking advantage of our Catering feature you could easily save $100 per month. Most online apps will charge a % per transaction plus a monthly fee. With Online Order you get: 

  • 1 monthly fee for 2 separate sites
  • Set Minimum Order Quantity for specific Items
  • Preset Specific Portions
  • Separate Announcements for each site
  • Modifier multiplier for streamlined order process

To incorporate Catering into your Online Order platform:

  • Login to your Clover Web dashboard, 

  • Click on "Get More Apps"

  • Click on "Installed Apps"

  • Locate Online Order and open it

  • Click on "Change Subscription" and choose the Platinum 2000 plan
