How to set up Holiday hours

When holiday or vacation days come up, it's nice to be able to close your restaurant for the day without having to adjust your store hours or disable the Online Order app from processing orders. 

The Holiday Hours feature allows you to set your holidays, up to 1 year in advance. When a day has been selected as a Holiday, the Online Order will be closed from accepting orders for that Holiday. The Online Order app will still process future orders on the Holiday.  


 

Steps to set Holiday Hours

  1. Login to your Clover web dashboard
  2. Open Online Orders + Serverless Dinning app

  3. Click Holiday Hours

    1. A list of US Public Holidays of the year is provided, the ones we just passed are automatically hidden until the next year

    2. To enable any of these Public Holidays, simply click on the checkbox to the left of each one. Doing this will include the holiday in the Store Holidays list

  4. Create a custom holiday by entering a specific date and time

    1. Date: This is the day on which the custom holiday will begin

    2. Start Time: This is the specific hour in which the custom holiday will begin

    3. End Time: This is the specific hour in which the custom holiday will end

  5. Click on Save


 



*Any Public Holidays that are checked and added to your Store Holidays list will be for the entire day, from 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
If you do not wish to close for the entire day, create a custom holiday with the desired time and date. Keep in mind that this feature is designed to represent the hours in which your store will be closed.
