How to Setup Printer Labels for Contactless Dining

Clover Inventory labels are used to route Clover Inventory Items to specific printers so your order receipts will print only what exact items are needed at each station.  This is a vital step to make ensure Contactless Dining works correctly. That's why it's important to create and assign labels correctly in your Clover Inventory. You can title the label any name, for our tutorial we will use "Kitchen".

Steps to create and assign a Clover Inventory Label titled "Kitchen"

  1. Access your Clover Web Dashboard.
  2. Click on the Inventory tab and then select Printer Labels.

  1. Click on the green button to add a New Label.

  1. Type the name of your New Label in the field and click on Done to save it.

  1. Select your New Label to edit it and click on the Add items button.

  1. Check all the items to which you want to assign your New Label.
    1. You can use the search bar to find them faster.
  2. Once you have selected all the items click on Save.

  1. Repeat the process for every label you may require.
You can perform the same steps on your Clover Devices (Station, Pro, Mini, or Flex). Each setting mentioned here has the same name on its POS version.
