How To Sync Kitchen Display With Your Clover Merchant Account

A good troubleshooting step with Kitchen Display is to disconnect from your Clover Merchant ID and then reconnect it.

This will help resolve a few issues such as:
  1. New Items not appearing on KD
  2. New Modifier Groups not appearing on KD
  3. No orders are appearing KD

Steps to Sync your Kitchen Display app with your Clover merchant account

  1. Open your KD app on the Clover Device
  2. Press the 3 dots located on the top right corner
  3. Press/Click on Settings
  4. Press/Click on "Clover POS Connection"
  5. Access the Clover Merchant ID field and add a number 1
  6. After adding the number 1, press OK. You will get an error at connection to Clover. This is normal as we just changed the Clover Merchant ID
  7. Now go back into the Clover Merchant ID field and delete the digit you just added
  8. You should now get a connection successful message. You have now re-synced your KD with your Clover Merchant Account


Now your Kitchen Display app is synced with your Clover Merchant account. If you have more than 1 device you will need to make this process with each one.
