How to use a bumpbar or keypad

Please be advised that currently, the bumpbar is not compatible with Kitchen Display Full Service Mode. It only functions in Kitchen Display Quick Service Mode.

To enable merchants and their staff to use a keypad or bumpbar instead of a touch screen, the Kitchen Display app has added keyboard support so that touchscreen input is optional.  This means that restaurants can use a bumpbar that can be easier to reach and keep clean in a food preparation environment.

In addition, some restaurants may find that using the bumpbar, in particular, is much faster than using the touchscreen as it requires fewer actions to mark an order as done.
