How to verify if the Android device has internet connection

How to verify if the Android device has internet connection

If the Android device is connected to a wifi network and the Kitchen Display is not showing orders it might be because the device has lost the wifi connection.
The fastest and easiest way to test is by opening the internet browser and access to any website (Ex: YouTube and play a video). If the website doesn't load it means your device is having an internet connection problem.

The wifi network has no internet

  1. Click on the top of the screen of the Android device and swipe down. The notifications tab will show up
  2. Click and swipe down one more time.
  3. Click and hold the wifi icon for about 3 seconds. The wifi list will be displayed
  4. The wifi status should say Connected
  5. If it has another status:
    1. Click on the wifi name, a pop-up tab will be displayed
    2. Click FORGET
    3. Add the credentials again and connect to the wifi
  6. Access to your Kitchen display app
If the title bar is now green and your orders are displaying, the issue that was happening due to your network is now solved.
If the message is "not connected" probably your router is having issues with the internet connection.
