Click on Order Management
Click on Enable Order Cap
When your customers arrive at the checkout screen, they will be able to select their preferred time slot depending on your Business Hours. Orderspoon will actively check each time slot to see if the maximum number of orders inside each time slot has not been reached. If it has been reached, and the customer tries placing an order selecting an unavailable time slot, Orderspoon will advise the customer to select a different time slot instead of making the customer wait.
Here is an example scenario:
Order Cap: Enabled
Set Order Cap: 5
Set Order Cap Interval: 10
With these settings, your store will be able to accept 5 orders every 10 minutes.
If 10 orders have been placed within the time interval of 10:00 AM- 10:09 AM, an 11th customer will not be able to place an order for that interval. Orderspoon will recommend the customer select another time slot. For example, 10:10 AM, 15:20 PM, etc.
When your customers arrive at the checkout screen, they will see that the only time slot available is ASAP ( depending on your Avg. Preparation Time). If 10 customers place an order within the time interval of 10:00 am - 10:09 am, an 11th customer will not be able to place an order for that interval.
Any customer that tries placing an order will be advised to wait until 10:10 am to place an order.
