Setting Time Availability To Categories
With the Online Order app, you can limit the time a Category is available for online. This is a great feature for your breakfast items, lunch specials, happy hours. This eliminates necessity to edit Categories on a daily basis.
To limit the time a Category is available for online:
- Login to your Clover Web dashboard:
- Open the Online Order app.
- Click Categories
- In the Category Name field, select the Category for which you want to limit it's availability
- Click Limit Time Availability
- If the hours of availability are the same for each day of the week
- Select Daily
- If the hours of availability are different during days of the week
- Enter each day separately
Once the End Time has been reached for that category, you customers will not be able to add any Items from that Category until the next Start Time is reached. You have the option to Not Show the entire category when it is not within the set hours for the Category.
To Show/Hide an Unavailable Category:
- Login to your Clover web dashboard
- Open the Online Order app
- Click Settings
- Enable or Disable the "Show Unavailable Category"
